Trayvon Martin’s father released a Father’s Day video to raise awareness of gun violence on behalf of the Second Chance on Shoot First Campaign. The video urges viewers to contact their governor’s about reviewing their state’s Stand Your Ground gun laws.

Martin’s 17-year-old son Trayvon was killed after an altercation with local neighborhood watch leader, George Zimmerman. Trayvon Martin was unarmed. His parents attended the task force panel and asked lawmakers to amend Florida’s Stand Your Ground law which has been used as a defense for the shooting of their son.

This will be his Tracy’s first Father’s Day without his son.
